How to Know if it's really the IRS

Received an email or a phone call from someone claiming to be from the IRS? These are likely scammers who are trying to obtain your personal information.

The IRS will not initiate contact with taxpayers via email or phone calls. They will first send notices to your home address. You always have the right to question or appeal their determinations, and they do not threaten with local police, immigration or other law enforcement to demand payment. Click here to find out more about how the IRS contacts taxpayers.

If you have received a notice in the mail from the IRS or your State tax agency, contact Young Tax Service, Inc. so we advise you on how you should respond. Thanks for doing business with us.
